Super Bowl commercials can be funny, epic, or starring Drake. While many of them are weird in the mainstream way that things can be weird — like “Dilly Dilly” weird — few Super Bowl commercials are truly weird. 

The Oatly Super Bowl commercial this year was truly weird. 

The plant-based milk company’s commercial featured its CEO, Toni Petersson, sitting at a keyboard in the middle of a field, singing an earnest and off-key song whose lyrics are “Wow … no cow.”

That’s it. That’s the entire commercial. We previously had a truly weird commercial with Will Ferrell opening up a beer in a field, but that was a local ad that only went viral after it got online after the Super Bowl.

Oatly paid a ton of money for this.

I think I love this commercial. I might also hate it. I’m not sure.
